Cater to Big Groups Effortlessly with Swiggy’s "XL" Orders

Earlier, restaurants looking to cater to large groups on online ordering platforms had to serve their customers through multiple fleet delivery partners. 

Handling large orders with multiple delivery partners could be inefficient, affecting both your operational flow and customer satisfaction.

With Swiggy’s new "XL" order feature, specifically tailored to handle group, party, and event orders, you can now offer seamless large-order catering directly through Swiggy. 

This feature automatically splits large "XL" orders into multiple manageable small orders, each processed and tracked individually on Prime’s Online Order Tracker.

By identifying "XL" orders with a blue basket icon in Prime’s Online Order Tracker, you can easily manage and prioritize these high-value orders.

Identify and Manage Zomato Train Orders on UrbanPiper

In April, Zomato, in partnership with IRCTC, introduced the ability for customers to place food orders directly from trains. If you’d like to learn more about this feature, click here to read.

For our restaurant partners, the main challenge has been distinguishing these train orders from regular ones. With our latest update, you can now easily differentiate train orders with a distinct train icon in Prime's Online Order Tracker, as shown in the illustration above.

This helps ensure that your team prepares these orders with train-friendly packaging and includes essential cutlery, enhancing the customer experience for passengers travelling through train.

Key Billing Workflows are now Supported on Prime App

We’re excited to announce that key billing workflows previously exclusive to Prime web are now fully supported on the Prime app.

This update means you can now manage crucial billing functions straight from the app, improving your day-to-day operations and boosting efficiency.

The following billing workflows can now be utilized within the Prime app, just as they are on the web:

  • Print bills before settlement
  • Enable automatic bill printing
  • Auto-print Kitchen Order Tickets (KOT)
  • Consolidate Master KOT prints
  • Assign delivery agents seamlessly

To configure these billing workflows, navigate to Company Admin → Settings → Point of Sale → Billing Type on Prime Web. The configuration needs to be set up for each billing type and assigned to an area. Once configured on Prime Web, these settings will automatically apply to both the app and the web, syncing after a simple restart without the need to log out.

Take Control of Your Instashop Store Status with Direct Toggle on UrbanPiper

Managing your store’s status on Instashop has traditionally required coordination with the Instashop team, slowing down your ability to respond to operational needs in real-time. 

Now, with the new Instashop Store Status Toggle, you can manage your store’s status directly from the UrbanPiper dashboard, significantly reducing your reliance on the Instashop platform.

You can access this feature in Atlas by navigating to Locations, selecting a specific location to edit, and under the 'Hub' section, you’ll find the online/offline store status toggle for Instashop.

This update is now available for all our restaurant partners in the Middle East.
