Founded by Kaushik Roy, Biryani By Kilo (BBK) is the only Biryani Chain to make Biryani fresh for every individual order and deliver it in the very handi in which it is cooked. BBK envisions to make Biryani the biggest Food Services & Delivery category from India.

BBK is committed towards becoming a pan-India premium Biryani Chain and making the Biryani category popular worldwide.

Challenges

When BBK was scaling, it faced a major challenge - high order failure. While it received orders from third party aggregator platforms such as Swiggy and Zomato, the order failure rate was high. To solve for it, BBK was looking for catalogue management and order management across multiple aggregators. Managing their menu across outlets, tracking both online and offline orders, and updating orders across multiple dashboards was laborious and time-consuming.

The team needed centralised control over restaurant operations to systematically manage increasing order volume while maintaining a low KPT.

Solution

Using UrbanPiper's product suite, BBK successfully managed all aggregators in one platform. With our HUB integration in particular, BBK was able to control its menu across multiple platforms from a single dashboard. It could now customize menus with a click and easily maintain consistency across its menu on food aggregator platforms.
