Speed Up Billing with Smart Keyboard Shortcuts in Prime POS

Managing orders during rush hours can slow things down, but not anymore! The new Smart Keyboard Shortcuts in Prime’s POS make billing faster and smoother.

How It Helps:

  • Quick Item Search & Add – Just type and press Enter, no extra clicks.
  • Effortless Modifier Selection – Navigate with arrow keys, select with Space, and switch groups using Tab.
  • Shortcut Tips at a Glance – Hover over the New Order button for a quick reference of available shortcuts.

This update is now live on Prime POS in India. Try it out and see the difference!

Easily Spot High-Priority Orders from Swiggy & Zomato

Handling high-priority orders like Swiggy Bolt and Zomato Express just got easier. Now, a Quick chip appears next to these orders in Prime, making them instantly recognizable.

What’s New?

  • Quick Order Tags: Identify urgent orders at a glance.
  • Clearer KOTs: Quick orders are now flagged on Kitchen Order Tickets (KOTs) to help kitchen teams process them faster.

Enhanced Print Customization for Online Orders

We’ve introduced new customization options for online order invoices and KOTs, giving you the flexibility to improve clarity and efficiency for your team.

What’s New:

  • Customer Name: Display customer names on invoices and KOTs for easier identification.
  • Delivery Passcode: Add delivery passcodes to the header for quick verification.
  • Background Highlighting: Improve visibility of fulfillment types and notes with a black background.
  • Updated Font: We’ve switched to Helvetica for a cleaner, more modern look.

How to Get Started:

Jump into Prime’s Company Admin → Print Templates → Online, and pick a new or existing Online Order Invoice or Online Order KOT template. Enable the features you need, tweak the design, and run a quick test to make sure it’s all set for your team!

Stay Focused with the 4-Hour Order Window on Prime

Managing a cluttered view of old orders during peak hours can slow your team down. That’s why we’ve introduced the 4-Hour Order Window, showing only recent and upcoming orders to help your team stay efficient and focused.

How It Helps:

  • Optimized Order Display – View only orders from the last 4 hours or scheduled for later.
  • Easy Access to Past Orders – Older orders remain accessible in Order History.
  • Clear Messaging – Banners and footers guide your team to archived orders.

🔹 Available in: India, MENA, US, UK

To enable: Go to Company Admin → Settings → Order Tracker → Select “4-Hour” View.

Gain Deeper Revenue Insights in Analytics

Understanding your revenue just got easier. With the new Revenue Breakdown feature, you can now view taxes, charges, discounts, and net revenue in a detailed, interactive chart—all directly on your dashboard.

What’s New:

  • Interactive Charts: Explore revenue trends with a multi-line chart that replaces static net revenue figures.
  • Customizable Location Performance Table: Add columns for taxes, charges, and discounts to get a complete view of location-level financial performance.

How to Get Started:

  • Go to Analytics → Revenue Summary to access the chart.
  • Customize the Location Performance Table by adding taxes, charges, discounts, and other revenue components.

This feature is available to all restaurants using the Analytics module on UrbanPiper’s Atlas dashboard in India, MENA, US, and UK.

Test Orders Before You Go Live

Launching your online ordering system without testing? Risky. Test Orders let you place trial orders to verify your setup and ensure everything runs smoothly.

What’s New:

  • Improved Confidence: Run test orders in real-time to verify your setup.
  • Clearly Marked Test Orders – Special instructions and a unique Test Order icon in Prime ensure your team instantly recognizes them, preventing kitchen prep.
  • Universal Compatibility: Works across all platforms and POS systems, both existing and future ones.

How It Works:

  1. Navigate to Menu Management → Menus and select the desired menu.
  2. Click Preview, choose a Location and Ordering Platform, then hit Show Preview.
  3. Add items to the Test Cart, customize if needed, and place a test order—just like a real one!

Fine-Tune Menus in a Flash with Bulk Rules

Updating menu rules one by one? Time-consuming and tedious. But now, with Bulk Rules, you can apply a single rule across multiple items or modifiers—instantly.

How It Helps:

  • Reduce Manual Effort – Update multiple items with one action.
  • Smarter Control – Easily manage complex menus with precision.

To set it up:
1️⃣ Go to Prime > Menu Management > Rules Tab
2️⃣ Add a Rule, Select Locations & Items, Set Conditions
3️⃣ Save & Apply Changes
