We are thrilled to share one of the most defining moments in our company’s journey yet—the elevation of Ashish Saxena to President. It is a decision we take great pride in and something we as the Founders of UrbanPiper believe puts our company on the best path to achieve its mission—to help restaurants focus on flavour and not friction, when dealing with tech.

Over the last 8 years, we have been on a relentless journey to ensure that we deliver the greatest value to restaurants using our  innovative solutions that drive growth and success in an increasingly digital world. Over the years, we have grown, evolved, and overcome challenges together, fueled by our unwavering commitment to our mission.

To reach this point in our journey, where we are present across 10 countries and 4 continents, is an achievement that is powered by an incredible team, which has not only provided rock-solid support for our customers, but also championed a culture that is built on transparency, trust and a deep sense of ownership.

From Chili's South-West India CEO to our India sales & Global Revenue leader, Ashish embodies the customer-centric vision he championed as our first enterprise client. In the last 2 years since Ashish has been a part of the team, he has been an advocate for focusing on the customer’s needs while being the first in line to safeguard and advance the needs of a growing team within an ecosystem that is rapidly changing. His decisive mind, unwavering consistency, and crystal-clear thinking make him the ideal leader to take UrbanPiper to the next level. We place a deep trust in his judgement.

A Letter from Our New President -  Ashish Saxena

Dear UrbanPiper Customers, Partners and Colleagues,

I am thrilled and deeply honored to announce a significant milestone in my journey with UrbanPiper: the privilege of stepping into the role of President. I embrace this opportunity with immense gratitude and excitement to lead our incredible team into a new chapter of growth, innovation, and impact. I express my appreciation to our founders, Anirban, Manav, and Saurabh. Their vision and leadership have built a remarkable foundation for UrbanPiper.

My journey with UrbanPiper began in 2015 as a customer when I was managing Chili’s Grill & Bar in South-West India. Since then, I have witnessed firsthand the passion, dedication, and ingenuity that define our company. I was so impressed with the culture and product quality that when Saurabh asked me to join UrbanPiper two years ago, I did not hesitate. Since then, I have been working closely with the team to grow our business in India. Together, we have navigated challenges, celebrated successes, and relentlessly pursued our mission to empower restaurants with cutting-edge technology solutions.

Over the past two years, we have achieved five fold growth, and our footprint has expanded from India to the Middle East, Europe, and now America. Such fast-paced global expansion requires a deep understanding of the needs of the restaurant industry and a strong operational focus to serve our customers around the clock across the globe. Having managed restaurants myself, I know the effort it takes to serve good food, grow sales, and control costs. I understand the challenges—when things don’t work, all hell breaks loose in the kitchen!

Our mission at UrbanPiper has always been to create technological solutions that simplify the lives of restaurateurs. As President, my commitment is to:

• Innovate and build solutions and services that help our restaurant partners succeed—specifically, to grow orders and reduce cancellations while controlling costs.
• Build a world-class customer service experience, with a strong focus on improving first-contact resolution and achieving best-in-class NPS.
• Improve the reliability of our products.

Above all, our team is our greatest asset, and I am committed to providing them with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to excel.

Together, we will continue to innovate and excel, ensuring our tools meet and exceed the expectations of the global restaurant community. I assure you, the best is yet to come.
